Running a hotel is hard work, in fact a hard life, but it is also a privilege. Not one day is like another. Where else do you find yourself face to face with wonderful as well as tricky guests from countries all over the world, dignitaries, movie stars, business leaders, crooks and sex addicts? On top of it in comfortable surroundings?

Over the last 15 years I have collected many stories. What they all have in common is that I have walked away a little wiser, a little stronger and a little more humble and I have had a lot of laughs. Life is what happens to you and what you then make of it.  Most importantly it happens every day. There is no point in waiting for tomorrow, the day after or even worse retirement. By then it might be too late.
